Transport on your Doorstep 
The Springfield Train Line serves as the artery connecting Greater Springfield to the wider Gold Coast, Ipswich and Brisbane regions. The train line is 9.5 km dual-track railway from Richlands to Springfield and features a city-bound service lane on the Centenary Highway leading to the Springfield station two crossings under the Centenary. This leads from the Station to the Orion Shopping Centre with a dedicated pedestrian and bike path linking Richlands to the Springfield community.
Between Springfield and Springfield Lakes are 300 park-and-ride spaces where you can leave your car and hop on the train. There is also a 3.5m wide bike track between Julie Road and Springfield Lakes. Cyclists can also take advantage of bike lockers and racks, if they choose to take the train from there.
