Based at Capalaba in the Redlands, CJ Homes is family owned and managed by Jyri Hopia, a qualified and licensed traditional builder with over 25 years of experience in both commercial and residential construction.

Jyri is committed to constructing contemporary and affordable homes that stand the test of time. He uses sound building practices and reliable materials and experienced trustworthy service providers. He firmly believes that all Australians should have the opportunity to build affordable homes based on stylish designs that can be easily customised to suit their lifestyle and budget.

Our Design & Building Services

Our Design and Building Services are geared to alleviate the stress typically associated with building homes. Our Fixed Price Contracts and Turn Key Solution minimises additional costs and work for our clients.
 
Through our Standard Inclusions package, our clients can choose from an extensive list of top quality products.  All our operations revolve around consistently delivering exceptional standards to ensure our clients are satisfied with their new home for years to come.

Experienced and Skilled Professionals

CJ Homes boasts dedicated teams of New Home Specialists, Building Designers, Construction Professionals, as well as highly experienced Site Supervisors and specialised tradespeople and suppliers. Each team member is equally committed to delivering outstanding workmanship, maintaining effective communication, and paying meticulous attention to detail to provide our clients with a superior quality home. 

Many of our skilled tradespeople began their apprenticeships with CJ Homes and remain an integral part of our building family. We exclusively employ QBCC licensed and skilled tradespeople with a clean work history. Our Building Design and Estimation teams consist of highly experienced and qualified professionals. Several of our staff have been with us for many years, including Mandie Hopia, our Office Manager and co-founder of CJ Homes.

OUR EXPERTISE

Exclusive House Designs

Our collective skills, training and talents enable us to construct a wide range of house designs to suit a variety of land types and sizes including sloping blocks, narrow lots, and irregularly shaped blocks.  

Our house designs include: single level, double storey, spilt-level or sloping blocks, acreage living, multi-generational, dual living style, Hamptons inspired facades, custom builds, knock down and rebuild style homes.

Where we Build

CJ Homes has strong relationships with land developers and offers house and land packages in a wide range of master planned communities and boutique housing estates throughout South East Queensland and Central Queensland in Rockhampton and Yeppoon.

Ipswich State High School Boys Rugby League Program

CJ Homes proudly sponsors the Ipswich State High School Boys Rugby League Program of Excellence. Our involvement with the program began in 2021. We were thrilled to witness the exceptional talent displayed by the Year 10s and Opens' teams resulting in their remarkable achievement of winning the Langer Cup in 2022.  We continue to be a proud sponsor in 2023 and 2024.
